I decided to reach out to Lloyd Beaumont. His website, his photos all exude class and that's exactly what I needed that night. The travel arrangements were set up in a few days for an overnight. He flew in a week later and a day early to get settled.
It happened at the Skyview Bar inside the Burj Al Arab. I wasn’t even supposed to be there — it was a last-minute invite from a friend-of-a-friend, one of those ridiculous “networking cocktails” for people who lived five lives too fast. I was wearing this deep green silk dress that clung to every curve, hair pinned up, makeup flawless — the whole thing. I needed someone who would match me, nah, make me the envy of the room.
And then he walked in. Not like the others, either — not polished, not prancing around with fake smiles. No. He moved like he didn’t owe anyone anything. Dark brown hair, polished look, a gorgeous Gucci charcoal suit that looked unreal. It really brought out his defined body.
And his eyes...
God, his eyes.
They didn’t flinch. They didn’t blink. They just saw me.
I clearly remember that I saw him first as he was looking around. Maybe I smiled too long. Maybe he crossed the room too fast. But we made a connection instantly.
All I know is one second, I was sipping my drink, and the next he was standing next to me, leaning in just enough that I could smell him — something dark and sharp and clean, elegant.
"Good evening madam" he said.
We had an amazing conversation about various aspects of my and his life. He is living in such a dream world, but he is very much aware of everything. Well-traveled, well-groomed, well..... hmmm....
After a few hours of togetherness at the bar, and a great meal, we went up to my suite.
Everything was glass and gold and insane views of the sea, but I barely noticed because the second the door shut, he was on me — mouth rough against mine, hands tangled in my hair, body pressing me back against the cold glass wall.
I could feel the scratch of his stubble against my neck.
I could feel him — all heat and tension and pure want — and it destroyed whatever polite version of myself I had brought to that bar.
His hands slid down my hips, up under my dress, strong and demanding, like he was trying to memorize every inch of me by touch alone.
I am not allowed to share the details but.....
... when if I close my eyes now, I can still feel the imprint of that night —
— the bite of the glass against my back,
— the taste of his kiss on my lips,
— and the way he made me feel like nothing else mattered but us.
I really can't explain to all of you what this gentleman can do. You have to experience it.
